Wouldn't it be great if you could call a toll-free telephone number and receive legal services from an attorney who has the expertise your community theatre needs?!!

Unfortunately theatre groups are not exempt from the law of scarcity. The needs and wants of my  community theatre almost always exceed our limited economic resources.

Since our limited budget does not allow us to hire a lawyer, we depend, instead, on the services of a volunteer who also happens to be an attorney. Your theatre may do the same thing.

The price is certainly right, but does your volunteer have the legal expertise you need.

What happens when your volunteer is a veteran patent attorney and you need expert legal advise regarding liquor liability or contract law?

As I said, wouldn't it be great if you could call a toll-free telephone number and get the expert legal service you need?!!

The Ponta, Castle & Ingram Agency [PCI], providers of the AACT-endorsed insurance program,  may be able to help.

PCI is in the process of exploring the possibility of adding a legal services component to our growing insurance package.

While only in the preliminary planning stage, the concept is to provide a basic level of legal services as a part of all AACT-insurance package.  In addition, larger theatre groups with greater needs and financial resources will be able to purchase a more comprehensive legal services package.

If this is to become a viable component of our insurance program, we need your advice regarding the kinds of legal services that will be most useful to your theatre group.

These survey results will be used in our negotiations to produce a legal services supplement to your AACT-endorsed insurance policy.
